I posted on the evolutionary origins of monogamy last night, and this seems a good follow-up. It shows how science works: formulating theories, testing them, wagering alternative explanations… And it shows one of the difficulties of a science-theology dialogue: as a theologian you want to take scientific insights into account, but on the other hand you don’t want your theology to become outdated when the next scientific theory is formulated. I think the theological questions in my former post remain relevant. Good news, since I’ll be dealing with them in my dissertation…;)
